The centre of the Szent Gaál Winery is located on the most beautiful gem of the Szekszárd wine region, on the Szentgál-wine hill. The castle was rebuilt in its present form at the end of the 19th century but the building was built shortly after the expulsion of the Turks. The land was in the possession of a German soldier family who received it for their participation in the expulsion of the Turks.
Located 12 kilometres from Szekszárd, Szent Gaál Castle is the home of 6 double rooms and 1 single room, a sauna, an outdoor swimming pool and an artificial lake. Several hundred guests could be seated. Event rooms for 100 and 60 people, 25-person medieval fireplace room, heehive oven, 3.5-hectare park, closed parking places. SZENT GAÁL CASTLE

The building has been restored in its original state in the near past and it was furnished with contemporary furniture. Since then it has been operating as a 7-room hotel. Its undisturbed tranquillity is guaranteed by a 3.5 hectares beautiful park, an outdoor swimming pool, an artificial lake and sauna.
The lovers of gastronomy can consume the delicacies prepared in the beehive oven located in the castle’s garden, on skewers, grill or in kettle, all made of the materials of the local producers, in the company of great wines. Other services: bike hire, cart, horse sledge, bank card acceptance, wine purchase, organisation of local wine tours, driver service. We can choose from several sports and programme possibilities in the region, like sailing in the Gemenc landscape protection area, visiting the Sióagárd cellar village, flying, bathing, bike tours, fishing, hunting, etc.
