Szent Gaál Wine Club entry statement and conditions

The Szent Gaál Winery operated by Szent Gaál Borászati Zrt. (address: 7100 Szekszárd, Epreskert u. 11.) prepares the participation conditions of

Szent Gaál Wine Club

With the present document, according to the following:

1./ The aim of the establishment of the wine club is to spread the wine culture, the propagation of the unique wines of the Szekszárd wine region, and the presentation of the tourism and gastronomy values of the area.

2./ Anyone interested in the wines of the Szekszárd wine region and wine tourism can be a member of the wine club. The members of the club contribute to the above mentioned aims with a sum of HUF 10,000 yearly. The members shall pay the above sum when joining to the club and until the 20th of January each subject year, against receipt. The members of the club receive a named wine club membership card, which is valid for one year. If the card is lost, a new card can be ordered for a fee of HUF 500. The card is personalized and can not be transferred.

3./ The members of the club can purchase the low-quantity wines produced by Szent Gaál Zrt. or the previous years’ wines out of turn.

4./ The wine club membership qualifies its user for the following discounts: 15 % discount from the products sold by Szent Gaál Zrt. The discount is valid for

• In the vinothek of Garay Cellar (address: 7100 Szekszárd, Garay tér 18.) (where the Szent Gaál Zrt. offers the wines, brandies, other wine accessories, quality teas, cheese and other gourmet products of almost all producers from Szekszárd)
• In the Szent Gaál Castle for purchasing drinks
• In case of an Internet purchase
• From the price of wine tastings for the owner of the card and for his/her partner (maximum one person)
• The other guests of the card owner receive 5% discount (irrespectively of their number).

10 % discount from

• The price of accommodation, meals and room rent at Szent Gaál Castle, for the owner of the card and for his/her partner (maximum one person). The other guests of the card owner receive 5% discount (irrespectively of their number).

The discount is not valid for the purchase of barrel wine and discounted products.

5./ The Szent Gaál Zrt. offers a free participation for its members at

• The tastings presenting the premium wines in Budapest or in Szekszárd, on one occasion yearly
• The bicycle tour organised by the company, which aims to present the cellars of the Szekszárd region
• The November presentation of the Badarka.

6./ If the member of the wine club orders the products offered by the Szent Gaál Zrt. for a sum of HUF 40,000 by phone, in writing or in any other way suitable for his/her identification, the Szent Gaál Zrt. provides free transport for the whole region of the country.

7./ Finally, the Szent Gaál Zrt. provides a 50% discount from the participation fee for the club members for the gastronomy event of Alexander-day organised at the end of March, within the frameworks of which Sándor Pakulár master chef prepares lunch from the gastronomy of the region and organises full-day programmes.

8./ The Szent Gaál Zrt. keeps the club members in countenance during the preparation of the members’ lists of the wine dinners and tastings held in Budapest, in case if the conciliations with the restaurant make it possible.
